What is an NFT? | BITCLOUT's NEW FEATURE & My Art Collection

I've been heavily researching all there is to know about NFT's and it's projections... Let me tell you, this could become something very cool!

What is an NFT?

An NFT could be a script, music, video, painting, portrait or any other type of digital asset.

NFT is an abbreviation that means Non Fungible Token.

But that doesn’t make it any clearer.

“Non-fungible” means that it’s unique and can’t be replaced with something else.

For example, a bitcoin is fungible — trade one for another bitcoin, and you’ll have exactly the same thing.

A one-of-a-kind trading card, however, is non-fungible. If you traded it for a different card, you’d have something completely different.

How do NFTs work?

Most NFTs are part of the Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum is a cryptocurrency, like bitcoin or dogecoin, but its blockchain also supports these NFTs, which store extra information that makes them work differently

What’s worth picking up at the NFT supermarket?

NFTs can really be anything digital (such as drawings, music, your brain downloaded and turned into an AI), but a lot of the current excitement is around using the tech to sell digital art. Imagine the future when we all wear VR Glasses regularly, you will be able to digitally decorate your house with the art!

Another new use for NFT's are legal documents and titles that have been acquired for Real Estate Purchases, Vehicles, or anything else relatable.

Here's an example, I created an album with artistic editing of some of my most favourite adventure photo's, this could be posted for sale as an NFT collection.

Sale Status and Price - Put it on sale

- Choose Minimum Bid price

Royalties

- % Creator Royalty - % Coin-holder Royalty - On every sale, including resale, a customizable percentage goes to you, the creator, and to your coin-holders.

Unlockable Content - Enable Unlockable Content - Include exclusive text, like a URL, encrypted for NFT purchasers.
